On my tv it looks great just like usuall. But on my computer while it is recording it is in black and white. On my tv I was not able to use all of the cables from the PVR. Here in a couple of minutes I will post a video of what it is showing. I will give a ton of rep to who ever helps me out.

You have to have all the cables plugged in, also check that the cables you do have plugged in are in all the way.

Did you check to see if you correctly inserted the cables into the back of the HD PVR?
Also open up total media extreme (it comes with the pvr)

I followed the sticky in the Youtube Famous section. The only difference is that I am using a slim so I did not have all of the composite cables. Would that be a problem?
