Damn you concept :stern: lol
I still count all this down to experience xD I don't just pick something up and know how to do it. Like I mentioned on you're wall, I am pretty clumsy.

so your back ;)
and sorry but I can't say 10/10, it's cool, but the shadows are pretty sloppy and I'm not sure where you were imagining a light source (just to the left of the thumb?) but if I was right, then the shadows on the fingers wouldn't extend that high. The shadow on the palm just looks really messy, the entire palm should be slightly darker than the rest and then that area should fall off. Either way, it's better than what I could have done.

I had a picture in front of me I could see where the shadows were on my camera

I don't like the extremely thick stroke especially because it looks rough on the fingers, primarily the index finger.

Yeah I know :/ I used a path effect thing in illustrator I found just messing about, I wish I had a more recent version of Illustrator so I could vary the widths myself. CS3 doesn't have a stroke width tool like later versions, so I had to create calligraphy brushes that do the job but involve so much more effort. I can lower the stroke but I'm too lazy to

There we go, posted a quick version without a stroke with gyazo, if you can't see it tell me and I'll upload to imageshack. Couldn't be bothered with the gradient etc.

Nice work right here.
Probably not the best choice try to vector hands for you first time using illustrator since hands are one of the most difficult things to draw, but still, you did a decent enough job.
Only thing you should watch out with right now is the stroke you have. For whatever reason it's wobbly and uneven around the shape of the hands.
Besides that there isn't much to improve, of course you'd need allot more detail to really create a good looking hand, but that'll come with time and practice.
