Ok, so my dark brother initiate follower was with me when this happened. So I went into a cave connected to the East Empire shipping warehouse because I was shadowing Gulum-Ei for a thieves guild quest. I told her to wait at the start of the cave because she is retarded and attacks anyone hostile on sight. So I finished tailing him and left the cave through a different way, and OFC, I forgot about her. I went on to do more Thieves guild missions, and I unlock the quest where tonilia (thieves guild fence) upgrades one of your pieces of thieves guild armor, and then I remember that the follower i lost in a cave had my thieves guild armor. So I went back to her in the cav, only to find her standing on a pressure plate with nothing but an ebony dagger and my blade of woe. She didnt have a single thing she was carrying for me, she had my chillrend, my spellbreaker, and like 4 of my daedric artifacts. Has this happened to anyone else, and do you know how to fix it?
