About the Specialist Package

What is the Specialist Package: The Specialist Package is a Point Streak System, where instead of Air Support, you get Perks. Its good for Lone Wolf type players, or people who just dont like to mess around with Care Packages and Helicopters. If you do well enough, you can be using ever single perk in the game. This takes eight (seven with Hardline) kills with your gun. Not terribly difficult, but not easy either. Keep in mind, you dont get UAVs or other Air Support.

Classes

Okay, Im going to be pretty broad about this, because a lot of it is just finding what you do well with and going with it. I would recommend experimenting and doing what works well for you. Dont just follow what I say and not use anything else. Okay, now on to some of my class setup tips.

First, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO USE A SILENCER. Staying off the radar is huge in this game, because if your popping up on it all the time, it makes it very, very difficult to stay alive. And after all, to get the maximum benefit from the Specialist Package, youre going to have to stay alive. Now, onto my first, and favorite setup.

CLASS #1: General use/all around class
Primary: SCAL-L w/ Silencer + Ext. Mags (2 Attachments Proficiency)
I recommend this because it is a good AR with good (IMO) iron sights. This class works so well for me because I cut down on reloading (on of the main causes for me dying) because of Ext. Mags, and staying off the radar with the Suppressor. I would try and find a good all around gun that you can use without a Red Dot or Holographic Sight.

Secondary: Stinger (Javelin or SMAW also works)
Trust me, this is very effective because shooting down UAVs and other Air Support contribute to your streak. This works so well because of how much UAVs are spammed in this game.

Equipment: Just go with whatever you are comfortable with. I would personally try Claymores or just a Nade, and go with Concussions for your Tactical Equipment because if you have Hardline Pro, every other Assist will give you and extra point toward your streak. But this is personal preference, do what you like.

Starting Perks: Scavenger, Hardline, Steady Aim
The important one here is Hardline. With this, you can get your fourth perk in one kill. This is awesome, because no matter how bad you play, youre still playing with at least four perks basically the whole game. I also like Scavenger because with a Suppressed AR, you will run out of ammo pretty quick. Steady Aim is just my favorite Green Perk (dont have Dead Silence yet).

Additional Perks: Assassin, Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw
Assassin is almost a must. UAVs WILL be the death of you in this game, and sometimes it can be too overwhelming to shoot them all down (especially with the urban maps with all the buildings). Sleight of Hand can be substituted with Scavenger, because you dont really need the Ammo at first, but I also think Sleight of Hand isnt needed to start because you dont reload before you get a kill. Quickdraw Pro is just a nice perk, it will help you in oh shit moments when you get caught off guard.

CLASS #2: Rush class
Primary: P90 Silencer (Kick Proficiency)
The P90 is great because its fairly accurate and has a big clip. Again, use the Silencer. You could also run two attachments and tack on Rapid Fire, which I do occasionally.

Secondary: Stinger
Same as before, use a Launcher and shoot down UAVs. Machine Pistols and Pistols arent useful with a P90, so just dont use them. Pretty redundant IMO.

Equipment: With a SMG, youre likely to be rushing, so use Semtex (or Frags if you prefer them that much). For Tactical Nades, Id go with Concussions again.

Starting Perks: Extreme Conditioning, Hardline, Steady Aim
Again, Hardline is awesome. One point for your fourth perk is just amazing. Extreme Conditioning compliments SMGs well, so Id go with it. Steady Aim is the perk to use. Dead Silence is also another option if you have it unlocked.

Additional Perks: Sleight of Hand, Assassin, Dead Silence
You dont need ammo with this gun, so Scavenger isnt needed like with the SCAR (or any AR). Sleight of Hand can be replaced with Quickdraw, its just personal preference there. And Dead Silence seems better than any other Green Perk for this setup. You could run Sitrep, although right now, a lot of people are low levels and arent running Claymores or Bettys.

Perks Explained

Okay, this again, is pretty broad. It all depends on how you play. But, there are a few guidelines I will put out in order to get you in the right direction.

First, Hardline Pro is almost a must to use. If you start off with it, in one kill you will get another Perk. This is just a safety net of sorts, and it will be very helpful.

Secondly, Scavenger Pro is a good option to use in your first three or at least your second three. You are very likely to run out of ammo in six kills without Scavenger, so its a good choice in my opinion.

A few other good options are:

-Sleight of Hand: Just a good all around perk, especially for staying alive. It's one of the "oh shit" perks as I like to call them.

-Quickdraw: Another "oh shit" perk.

-Sitrep: This isnt all that useful yet, but once people start getting Claymores, it will help.

-Extreme Conditioning: This is good to start with, because it will get you into the action quicker. But be warned, it will get you killed if you get caught sprinting.

-Assassin and Blind Eye: Staying away from Air Support is so beneficial when using this Strike Package.

-Blast Shield: If you find yourself dying to Explosives or Tactical Nades alot, use this. Its very good in Objective Games like Domination.

General Tips

-Always be Flanking: If you take my advice and use Suppressors, you can be very effective in this game by flanking. You dont want to camp, because the spawns will put someone behind you and youll get shot in the back. I also dont think balls to the wall rushing works good either. Anywhere in the middle of the map in this game is a death trap. Therefore, you should stay to the edges of the map and shoot people in the side. Just remember, use cover, and stay off the radar (use Assassin and a Silencer, I cant say this enough)

-Use your Radar: Dont rely on it, but if dots are there, use em. Try and judge spawns and see where people are at.

-Take it slow: Dont camp, but dont rush blindly. Use cover, and stay out of the open. This ties into flanking, but just dont go too fast.

-Shoot down Air Support: This is HUGE. There will always be UAVs, and its free points and if your using Specialist, free perks. When you spawn, just look up, and youre sure to find a UAV.

-Cap Objectives: If youre playing Dom, cap that opening Objective. Way too often I see people run right past it. Just do it, get the points and the perks.

-Know what gamemodes to use it in: Speaking of objectives ^, Specialist works the best in Objective Games. You can use it for anything, but the only gamemode I wouldnt use it in is Search and Destroy. It would be hard to even acquire all the Perks, and then you wouldnt even get the reward for that long. Assault would work the best for SnD in my opinion.

-Dont constantly be sprinting: This is probably the number one reason for me dying. Just make sure you never sprint around corners.

-Dont be a reload whore: This is another big reason for my deaths. Its also why I like Ext. Mags.

MOAB

In case you dont know, the MOAB is a 25 Point Streak, and its similar to a Nuke, but doesnt kill you or your team, and it doesnt end the game. But, it will kill the entire enemy team, provide a minute long EMP, and give you and your teammates Double XP for the rest of the game.

I havent gotten one of these, but Im going to touch on it because Im sure someone will ask. My only advice is dont try for them. If it happens, great, but dont frustrate yourself over it. Getting 25 Kills with just your gun is going to be very hard, I wouldnt stress over it. But, if you want to go for it, using the Specialist Package is the way to go. Having all the perks turns you into a Super Soldier.

I agree with most of it right up until you start talking about the MOAB.
MOABs are not overly difficult to get and it's obvious by the way you talk about them you haven't gotten one before.
If you want one. Why shouldn't you try for it?
If you die. Try again!
Worst case. You're just raising your K/D.
