I have tried to help about ten peoples posts, and even if I have a solution for them they never check back for answers! Why ask for help on a forum if your not going to come back for the answer!?

This goes for pretty much every section though, not just here.

People check back for the answer alright, they just don't have the courtesy to thank you for your time and trouble, and that way also don't have to +REP you like they always promise.

I stopped helping people some time ago because of this.

I mean the rep is nice and the thanks is also. I do not expect people to praise me for helping them, but to know if its worth the time would be nice, I do have other things to do in life, but I use the forum to help myself when I need and people answer my questions enough, that I feel I should give some help back.
