Hey OP, add this new method under strafe boosting. It gets you more and would be helpful if people knew this method as opposed to the older one with Assault drone as it takes longer and you get less XP...

I've gone from Prestige 2 to 7 in one night.

Here's how it goes...

NOTE: You cannot do this on maps with talls building all around it such as Resistance.

Main weapon - MG36 (the second MG unlocked)
Secondary - Stinger
Perk 1 - Blind Eye (preferably pro - you get more XP if pro)
Perk 2 - Hardline
Perk 3 - Whatever

Killstreaks - Sentry gun, Attack helicopter, Strafe run

1st round - As usual, one person from each team goes to spawn, gets the 3 kills, plants/defuses bomb for sentry gun. Fine

2nd round - Same again, one person goes to the other spawn, gets the kills then both players getting the kills meet up at the most open bomb site - the bomb site which has no tall building near it. Now, one person calls in their Sentry gun airdrop but make sure that the player on the other team is standing quite a bit back so they can look all the way up and shoot the airdrop helicopter with their MG as it drops off the Sentry gun. This will get you 6K XP just for shooting a helicopter you usually wouldn't. Now, knife the sentry as usual and the other player who hasn't called in their sentry yet calls in their sentry and the player on the other team, shoots that down and gets the 6K XP as well as the XP for knifing the sentry. Next, if you have enough time, one person calls in the attack helicopter. The player on the other team shoots the attack helicopter with their MG. If you have blind eye pro, this will take around 20 bullets. Time will run down while the attack helicopter comes in and gets shot down so get the player who has the bomb call in the helicopter first so that when the player without the bomb is shooting the helicopter, they can plant it so you get 45 extra seconds for the bomb timer. Now, the player who needs to defuse calls in his attack helicopter and the other player does the same, shoots it with their MG. Then defuse bomb, round down. Easy.

3rd round - This round is pretty much the same. You will have another sentry gun so you know what to do with that once you have killed the non-playing characters at spawn. So do that, then one player calls in strafe run and you shoot the middle helicopter with your stinger you then do the same with either the right or left helicopter. Then, once you're out of stingers use your MG to shoot down the last remaining helicopter. Then, do the same with the other player.

That's how you call in and take out all the killstreaks pretty much. I only wrote this tutorial up to round 3 as that is when all the killstreaks are gained. For the rounds after round 3, it's just a repeat of the previous rounds.

The key to gaining more XP isn't in the order of calling in your killstreaks as so, it's just the way in which you destroy them.

If one of the players (or both) who are getting the kills does not have a stinger, get the players who aren't getting kills to pull out their stinger so that you can pick it up.

Great post! This can help many who like to boost

A very informative article about boosting, but I think a few things should be changed...

First, it is important to say why this works and why this gives you so much XP. Every round, (other than the first) you should get 3 people killed (6k XP, All xp values will be with double xp), a entire strafe run down (5 to point streak, 30K XP), a sentry gun and the helicopter bringing it down (2 to point streak, 8k xp), an assault drone and the helicopter bringing it down (2 to point streak, 12k xp), and a bomb planted or destroyed (1 to point streak, 2k xp). So in one round, you get 13 points to your point streak, which gives you an extra sentry gun (2 points, 8k xp).I bring this up because one, it is easy to see how fast point streaks and xp stack up. However, there are some really wierd glitches that must be accounted for when you are leveling up.
a) Although you are technically on pace to get 10 or so Strafe Runs, you will likely only be able to use 7 of them. Due to a glitch in calling in these XP farms, they will not come if you have already called in a bunch of the other killstreaks. I normally encounter this problem when I am looking to call in my second strafe run in a round, almost at the end of it.
b) When you are in an assault drone, you LOSE BLIND EYE, so make sure that you are in a safe location.

Second, FetusFlipper's strategy does NOT give you more XP per game (And it shouldn't take less time, because of the similarities between the attack heli and the assault drone. The only difference between the two is that the assault drone gives you more points). However, take his suggestion and use an LMG. He claims he was able to get 300K XP in a Game, and Im gonna up the ante...

MY FINAL XP TOTAL PER GAME: 350K+ XP per game (I leveled from 18 to 42 in one game, and I failed to do it perfectly. At a later level, higher point challenges become available and thus you gain more XP)

PS: Im a 6th prestige Level 22, with 1d 11h played, and still more double xp time. Im going to quit now however. Don't be a retard, Don't get caught.

Would it also help if you switched your status from online to offline? I say this because I used to boost on double xp weekends in Halo 3 and if you turned your status to offline then you would have a very slim chance of getting banned.
