they didn't put enough work in to it to stop the hacks

no, mw2 is the worst call of duty game thats ever been produced, they got over cocky and completly screwed up,
it took about a day to mod mw2 10th prestige ect and it took over a YEAR to do the same on waw, treyarch are the winners,
mw2 sucks

its my last played game but i hate online i only really play private matches with my friends, the only reason losts of people play is because you cant chat in party, IW were very smart with that as it makes more people play online boosting thier figures 8)

Infinity Ward did an awful job with the game in many ways. First of all, you cant even play an accurate pub match game because most likely 1 or more person in the lobby has a wall hack or an aim bot. Almost every body in the game is 10th prestige and has all challenges and titles and emblems along with the fact that a scrub can kill a good kid any day. Their is really no talent exposed in this game where as a scrub can put a couple of bullets into a good kid and kill him. Infinity Ward did an awful job also because the game has wayyyyyy to much stuff in it.
