It all depends on what time of beats you are wanting to get. Because If you are going into a music professional(singing, Insturment) or in the Radio Profession, Then I would definately ask for the Beats That are the Studio's, The Pro's, or the Detox's because they are incredible. But if you want some knock around beats I would consider the earbuds with beats they are much better than skull candy and they last longer. But if you are not a fan of earbuds then my second choice would be the Solo's or the Solo HD's.

skull candies are so much cheaper, and they sound better, and besides beats make you look like a douche bag if your not snowboarding (considering the fact their bigger than the head of a baby), and there like $500 dollars for a decent pair, otherwise skull candies are the way to go....
