well i tryed installing mo creatures which didnt work then tried more creeps and weirdos but i keep getting a black screen i have followed the instructions completely right but it still happens. is there any way i can get the black screen to stop coming up ?? i know how to get rid of it the black screen , but i want to play the mod any ideas ???

did you delete the META-INF folder in your minecraft.jar?

other than that im not sure, search pre modded in google with the mods you want
