1. Play games w/o the disc
2. Never having to get up to change discs
3. Being able to lay on my couch and swap games w/o standing up
4. Having 200 + games instantly at your fingertips
5. Did I already mention not having to stand up to swap discs?

Yes...I'm lazy.

Primary reason for me JTAGing my old box was to be able to store games on an external drive and never have to worry about keeping discs laying around. To me it was the ultimate "lazy man" modification. If I want to play some Madden...load up Madden. If I get bored of it in 10 minutes and want to play Fallout...simply load up Fallout from the comfort of my couch.

There is plenty more things you can accomplish w/ a JTAG, but to me, that's my primary use for it. For some more ideas of what they can (and cannot) do, check out iPatobo's sticky @ that top of this board.

Good luck, have fun w/ it.
