Hey guys I have a quick question regarding high definition cables for the xbox 360 slim. I have always had a standard definition tv, until tomorrow. I'm going to get a 24' HDTV to fit in my entertainment center in my room. I bought a pre-owned Xbox 360 Slim today and it happened to come with an HDMI cable. I'm going to have to get a cord to make my Turtle Beaches compatible with it but that's not the question at the moment. Until then, I bought some normal HDTV cables (That has blue, green i believe, 2 red's, white, and yellow i think are the colors). The question is that am I able to use my Turtle Beach cord that plugs in normally the red and white cables to get the sound quality for standard definition, on the HD cords? It may seem like a very obvious question but I am just being sure since I've never had/purchased an HDTV before. Thanks in advance and I will give +50 rep to anyone who answers.
*Oh and another question you can answer if you want. Is there a way I can use the HDMI cable and Turtle Beaches without purchasing the product from TB to use it with? If so, post a tutorial if you can. Thanks.
