You know, over the past few years, i hear alot of that line being used as an excuse, i honestly think it is a crap excuse, let's evaluate it. Let's say a husbands wife is going in to labor, so he speeds to the hospital, a cop catches him speeding, and turns on his sirens to pull over, the guy finally pulls over, after he reaches the hospital, the cop quickly arrests the husband. When asked why he was speeding, he said " My wife made me do it, she was going into labor." After hearing that the cop says, No, you made that choice, do you relise you were speeding through a neighborhood with little kids playing outside; what if you had hit one? You put other people in danger, because "she made you do it"

Here is another example, during a trial, former nazis were being tried, for the concentration camp, when the judge said, why did you burn, and starve the jews? The former Nazi replied with, " If i didn't my superior would have shot me" the judge replied with "Then you should have let him."
