Hopefully someone can help me!
My Hitachi drive is flashed with lx1.51, It ran fine for ages, I've lately fixed the RROD with the XClamp fix, It still worked fine.
I've been running the drive out of the case to help with the overheating issue but now it won't open at all!
When I press the eject button the centre light of the ring only flashes once and the drive doesn't open at all. I've done some googling but it all comes back as bad flashes but surely it couldn't be a bad flash if it's been working fine since?
Does anyone have any ideas cause I need to rip COD4 and I also need to run a MW2 lobby and surely I'll get banned if MS figure that the disc isn't running in the drive??

Just an update.
The 360 will boot into XReboot/Xell using the eject button. I've opened the drive with the 'paperclip trick' but haven't tried putting a disc in and starting it up to see if it will read!
