Forza Motersport 4 - Review

Forza Motersport 4 Information
Release Date: October 11, 2011
Developers: TURN 10
Genre: Racing
Platforms: Xbox 360
Multiplayer: Online, up to 16 players
ESRB: E
Synopsis
The wheels keep spinning in one of the most acclaimed racing simulation games available. Forza 4 increases the immersion with compatibility with the Kinect motion control camera.
Through the power of Kinect, players will be able to step through the TV screen and jump into the driver's seat while the engaging controller-based experience will let you take on the bone-jarring physics, unparalleled levels of customization, and rosters of dream cars and tracks. Offering gameplay that will electrify racing fans and excite car lovers and novices alike, the popular racing franchise returns.
Gameplay
In Forza Motorsport 4, you are able to transfer your file from Forza 3 to Forza 4. What this can do is transfer credits and gifted cars into Forza 4 for you to use! The amount of credits/cars transferable depends on game stats (game time, amount of credits total, etc.). The new head tracking feature allows easier access to view nearby cars. The Autovista mode lets you explore your cars and go inside them, and you can use Kinect or just the Xbox 360 controller to do so. A feature with kinect is the auto acceleration/deceleration feature, which, like stated, is automatic (by itself). Also, when using kinect, you have the ability to give voice commands to go through menus and start up races. The autovista mode, as mentioned previously, can only use 25 certain types of cars (dream cars, sports cars, etc.).
The World Tour Mode is basically the story mode in Forza 4, and a new feature in the story mode is how you play the game, and it will automatically choose the difficulty setting depending on your data trend in your races. The difficulty setting will progressively change throughout the campaign. Some types of race modes are bumper to bumper races, Drift, Autocross, multiple-heat races, etc. Also, when you level up, you can choose your prize car for that level instead of being given a car automatically with no choice when you reach a level.
Graphics
The graphics in Forza Motorsport 4 are of great quality, and show much detail and depth. In autovista, the graphics used to create the cars are made using image-based lighting, which gives the cars perfect lighting. For the game, overall, the graphics are better than just your average game quality graphics. These graphics are excellent and top quality.
Controls
The controls are quite simple, but for this, all you need to know is:
Xbox 360
Right trigger - Gas
Left analog stick - Steering
Playstation 3
R2 - Gas
L3 - Steering
PC
? - Gas
? - Steering
I'm not too good with the controls with Forza, but I already got them down due to them not being hard to understand.
Overall Comments
Forza 4 is a game that I enjoy very much. It's something nice to play when I'm in the modd for racing games. It is challenging, but easy at the same time. Not too many problems that come to mind that have to do with this game, but it's an incredible game for sure.
Overall Rating: 9/10
Nice game, very good game to get! You definitely want to pick up that game as soon as possible!

Dimebag wrote There have been some great looking reviews guys - thanks to everybody for submitting them!
I do have 2 points to note however:
1. Any reviews being submitted for game which already has a thread should be posted as a reply to that thread - not here in Post a Review.
2. Any review which has been copied will be ignored. Any member which is caught copying on multiple occasions will have all future reviews ignored and may face further punitive measures depending on frequency/severity.
what page are you on for the reviews and i have a question do you thumsdown the bad reviews or what how does it work are we supposed to guess

Bulletstorm - Review

Bulletstorm Information
Release Date: 2/22/11
Developers: People Can Fly, Epic Games
Genre: Shooter
Platforms: PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360
Multiplayer: Yes
ESRB: M (Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, Use of Alcohol)
Synopsis
Bulletstorm takes place in the 26th century, where the universe is run by the Confederation of Planets. Star General Saranno sends his secret black ops team to do his dirty work, the Dead Echo team, led by Grayson Hunt (Steven Blum), having been following Sarrano's orders in assassinating what they believe are drug traffickers and mass murderers, kill a man known as Bryce Novak, but soon discover he was a civilian reporter, having documented other civilian deaths caused by Dead Echo. Grayson and his team realize they have been duped by Sarrano and desert, becoming space pirates on the run from Sarrano's forces.
Ten years later, Grayson drunkenly attacks Sarrano's battlecruiser, the Ulysses, while near the planet of Stygia. With their ship's systems failing, Grayson, in a last effort attack, rams the Ulysses, hoping to gain revenge on Sarrano. The ships collide, forcing both down and causing them to crash land on the surface of Stygia. One of Grayson's men, Ishi Sato (Andrew Kishino), is critically wounded in the crash and Grayson is forced to find an energy cell to drive the ship's medical equipment. On the planet, a former popular tropical-like resort destination, the population has mutated into feral tribes and carnivorous plants. Grayson fights through to one of the Ulysses escape pods, where a Final Echo soldier succumbs to a horde of mutants. After dispatching the attackers, Grayson retrieves the escape pod's energy cell, as well as an "instinct leash" that, when worn, begins to provide him strange tactile information, such as points for each enemy he kills.
Grayson returns with the cell, and while Ishi is under operation, the mutants attack their ship. The operation is cut short by an explosion during battle, leaving Ishi a disfigured cyborg. Grayson and Ishi, the only survivors, decide to work together to get off the planet, despite Ishi's disapproval of Grayson's thirst for revenge. The instinct leash leads Grayson to another escape pod, where they find Trishka (Jennifer Hale), another Final Echo soldier who agrees to work with Grayson and Ishi, but only after they rescue Sarrano. As they battle through the ravaged city, Trishka explains that Stygia has been used by Final Echo as a sort of training grounds, with the instinct leashes the soldiers wear as a means of ranking those within the test; those that scored kills would be the only ones that could get ammunition and other supplies to survive. When Grayson learns that Trishka was Novak's daughter, he tells her that Sarrano was responsible for her father's death, but claims he does not know who actually killed him.
The three make their way to the top of a skyscraper where Sarrano's pod landed. Trishka accuses Sarrano of her father's death, but he simply pushes her off the side of the building. Sarrano then warns Grayson and Ishi that there is an armed DNA bomb on the Ulysses that will wipe out all life on the planet, and that they must go and disarm it, as his rescue ship will not arrive in time. Sarrano leads them through the underground areas of the city, encountering radioactive waste and a giant prison. Sarrano snidely explains that that shields used to protect the planet's surface from its deadly electrical storms created the waste, and in turn, began to mutate the population of the surface; the changes occurred too quickly for most of the surface population to be rescued, and thus many of the feral mutants that Grayson has been fighting were more innocent civilians. Grayson is furious at this revelation, but continues to help Sarrano to reach the remains the Ulysses. Aboard, Sarrano tricks Grayson and Ishi once again, having them actually arm the DNA bomb, while his rescue ship will arrive in time to save him. As fire breaks out aboard the fallen ship, the two are saved by Trishka, who survived the fall by catching a power line on her way down.
The three race to where Sarrano's rescue ship is landing and manage to get on board. They make their way through Sarrano's elite troops and eventually face Sarrano alone. Trishka demands to know who actually killed her father, to which Sarrano indicts Grayson. In the confusion, Sarrano hijacks Ishi's computer systems, forcing him to turn on his friends. Grayson manages to break Sarrano's control of Ishi, and Ishi sacrifices himself to prevent Sarrano from killing Grayson. Grayson then impales Sarrano on the wall of a ship. As Grayson and Trishka regroup, Sarrano performs one final act: ejecting Grayson, Trishka and several of his men from the ship back onto the planet. With the DNA bomb soon to detonate, Grayson and Trishka race back to the Ulysses where one escape pod remains unlaunched; they are able to board it and escape into low orbit, out of range of the DNA bomb when it goes off. Grayson and Trishka have a short chat in the escape pod concerning Grayson's revenge, the loss of his team, and Sarrano's escape. The scene fades after Trishka asks Grayson what he is going to do about Sarrano escaping.
After the credits, it is revealed that Sarrano was revived, now a cyborg like Ishi, and Ishi has also been revived now under Sarrano's control.
Gameplay
For the gameplay aspect of Bullestorm, you will notice that most weapons you carry are large, heavy arsenal weapons, and you have a large variety of weapons to choose from. Bulletstorm also has the "skillshot kill system", which gives the player rewards for causing any kind of trouble, or such. The weapons in the game are unlocked in set level intervals. Once you purchase the weapon (re-armed), you can buy "set points" for it (charge shots). Points are scattered everywhere and help with munitions. When dealing customizing a weapon, you can use another gun, buy ammo, improve the ammo the weapon shoots, and buy special weapon charges. The assault rifle is always the default weapon, since you can use 3 guns in one class. Also, when using a weapon in battle, there is an alternate fire that changes the charges of the gun. You can also kick, run, and slide (into enemies).
Graphics
The graphics are exceptional in this game, but not the absolute best quality ever made. You can clearly see everything presented, but it is not perfect yet. Overall, the graphics are nice, just need a little more touches.
Controls
Here are the Xbox 360 controls for this game:
RT AIM
LT FIRE
RB LEASH
LB Charge Shot
X Reload
A Run/Slide
B Kick
Y Change Weapon
Clicking in the left stick will make you crouch.
Select is Skillshot Database
Minor adjustments if DPAD is to switch weapons with you:
LT Aim
RT Fire
LB Leash
RB Charge Shot
A little complicated, but not that bad!
Overall Comments
I thought this game was definitely worth its money, as I enjoyed it very much. I hope much more people start playing this game, because this game is very good for online (and single player). Great game!
Overall Rating: 9/10

Fable 2
Release Date: October 21, 2008
Developers: Volition, Inc
Publishers: Microsoft Game studios
Genre: Role Playing, Sandbox
Players: Single player/Online co-op
Platforms: Xbox 360
Rating (ESRB): Mature
Synopsis
the game is set almost 500 years after the original Fable, it begins in the city of Bowerstone, where the protagonist, a young child known as Sparrow is living in poverty with his sister. They stumble across a trader selling what he called a box that will grant one single wish. After gathering the money that the need to buy this box they make a crucial wish to live in a castle with the anagonist of the game Lord Lucian.
As the game progreses the sister of the protagonist gets shot and killed by lucian. You also get shot and hurled out of a window. You wake up to a trusty dog and a blind woman called theresa who is the guide as your game progresses. After bieng explained everything you, the protagonist sets out on an adventure to stop Lucians sinister plan, Avenge his sisters death and become a hero!
Gameplay
Fable II has almost everything an RPG fan would want. You are given the choice to be a Warrior, Bowman, Mage or all three!. While the main questline is sure to keep you entertained for a while, there are many rewarding side quests that you can take part in therefore immersing the player in a true gaming experience. One of the fetures that stood out to me is the free world aspect in this game. You can get married, have a kid, Take a job at the local blacksmith and practically anything else you can think of! Every decision you make will have an impact on the world around you.
Customisation
This was one of the stand out features in this game, while not matching up the customisation in games such as Saints Row this game persented many ways to change your character. You are able to customise your title, clothes, face, hair style and even your gender while playing this game. The only downfall in this was that it was very hard to find what you wanted in the various stalls throughout the game.
Multiplayer
To me this was one of the biggest downfalls in this game, while making it possible to visit other peoples worlds and exchange gifts you could not help to feel like a backseat driver. By this i mean that while your partner is immersed in the storyline of the game the NPC Pretty much fail to acnowlage that you are there. The player to player gifting system was not too bad but at the same time riddled with glitches, Making it very hard to use at times.
Difficulty
In my opinion this game was not too easy and not too hard. There is a glowing trail leading you to your objective therefore eliminating the factor of players getting lost. The enemys in the game varied in difficulty, some bieng able to kill in one sword stroke and another taking multiple to kill. The questline in the game did not necesarily have you fighting hords of monsters all of the time, which was a big relief to me. Along with this it is impossible to 'die' in this game, when your health bar is depleted to 0 your character will retrive a unappealing scar somewhere on thier body.
Final comments
While things like the interesting story line and various decisions you can make through out the game really appealed to me, things like glitches and the allout bad online fetures broguht it down a little.
Overall: 8/10
I suggest you get this game if you are just getting used to RPG gameplay or if you like the sort of game where you have various decisions to make. In my opinion it is the best $30 you will ever spend.

Post your own reviews here - if a review is good enough, and if the staff agree with it, it will be published as an official TTG Game Review.
Rules to follow if you want your review made official:
1. Users are permitted to copy only the manufacturers description of the game (synopsis).
2. You must have played the game.
3. All review parameters (gameplay/graphics/controls/etc) must be your own words.
4. Reviews must contain a rating from 1 to 10 - again this must be your own rating.
We are looking to create a wide selection of game reviews - but we want our own, not the reviews of other sites. We would far prefer your own reviews (regardless of size/quality) over that of one which has been copied from another site.

Any user that is found to be stealing reviews from other sites repeatedly will be ignored as a future reviewer. Hi, it's -Front-Line- here
I will be doing a review on mw3
I think about mw3 before it came out people were like Hohn mw3 but what I think is that all call of dutys has been getting bad ever since mw2 I think thatmw2 will never be able to be beat as its a good game I think some times it can become realistic and m3 was just a let down I mean no QSing that's just bad I know others might not like QSING but I am 1 who records and edits call of duty games and I just find it really bad that mw3 was over rated then it was a let down
So there fore my over all rating it 3/10 thanks for reading

The elder scrolls V : Skyrim

Information
Release date: November 11, 2011
Developers: Bethesda Game Studios
Genre: RPG
Platforms: Xbox360, PS3, Pc
Multiplayer: No
Synopsis
Skyrim is not a direct sequel to Oblivion, but a new chapter in the Elder Scrolls series, set 200 years after the events of Oblivion. In the preamble to Skyrim, the Empire began ceding territory to the Elven nations it once ruled, because there was no heir to the Emperor's throne, during a bloody war between the Empire and the Elven "Aldmeri Dominion". The Blades had no one to defend, and gradually died, were murdered, or secluded themselves from the rest of the world. After the king of Skyrim was assassinated, a civil war broke out among the native Nord race the majority being those who wished for Skyrim to secede from the Empire, and the rest being those who wished for Skyrim to stay in the Empire.
As with previous Elder Scrolls games, Skyrim begins with the player character as an unknown prisoner, on the way to Helgen for their own execution for being mistaken as a member of the Stormcloaks, a rebel group founded by the king's assassin, Ulfric Stormcloak, the Jarl of Windhelm and pretender to the throne of Skyrim. As the player character is about to be beheaded, a dragon arrives, destroying the town and interrupting the execution. The player eventually learns that Skyrim's civil war is last in a sequence of prophetic events foretold by the Elder Scrolls, which also foretell of the return of Alduin, the Nordic Dragon-god of destruction. Alduin is prophesied to consume the world with his servants, the Jills (a race of black Dragons). The player character is the last Dovahkiin (Dragonborn), a dragon hunter anointed by the gods to help fend off the threat Alduin poses to Skyrim and Tamriel. Aiding the player is Esbern (voiced by Max von Sydow), one of the last Blades.
Gameplay
Skyrim never failed to amaze me. The gameplay is pure genius.
From the start you are making choices that will affect the gameplay in positive or
negative ways.
They have brought a bunch of new skills in such as smithing and crafting.
This adds realism and fun to the game, As well as bringing new armours and
weapons for you to craft.
One of the main new features of skyrim is dragons!
Your first dragon battle is truly intense, As you have really bad equipment
it is a hard battle and you really get into it.
With skyrim the gameplay is always vast, You can do what you wish. Lets say you
want to fight dragons or slaughter innocent towns, You can. That is the aim
of the game, to do what you want.
Graphics
The graphics on skyrim are stunning, especially if you play on the pc and have
the power to play at max settings.
The graphical side is one of my favorite parts of skyrim, The detail is just immense
and you can get swept away by the stunning views in the game.
Here is a quick example of a stunning view :3
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
The sky is beautiful, even the rock has some great detail next to the guy.
And when you see the night sky for the first time, Well lets just say it is
not something you will forget.
It is the view of a lifetime.
My overall comment
Skyrim is a beautiful game which is stunning and extremely fun.
If you love any type of rpgs you will love this game.
My overall rating
Gameplay : 9/10
Graphics : 8/10 for console , 10/10 for full spec pc
Story : 8.5/10
My advice to you guys, Buy this game.
You will NOT be dissapointed.

The sky is beautiful, even the rock has some great detail next to the guy.
And when you see the night sky for the first time, Well lets just say it is
not something you will forget.
It is the view of a lifetime.
My overall comment
Skyrim is a beautiful game which is stunning and extremely fun.
If you love any type of rpgs you will love this game.
My overall rating
Gameplay : 9/10
Graphics : 8/10 for console , 10/10 for full spec pc

Synopsis
In the year 2013 after the death of Kim John-II who was the north korean leader Kim John-un the new appointed leader unites North and South Korea. As the United States withdraws overseas troops to deal with domestic instability, including the Texas secession debate and an outbreak of bird flu known as the Knoxville Cough the Greater Korean Republic annexes Japan and Southeast Asia. By 2022, the United States faces extreme economic turmoil and massive social unrest, culminating in complete economic collapse. On January 16, 2025, a satellite, launched under the cover of a program to replace the decaying Global Positioning System, detonates a high-altitude nuclear weapon over the continental United States
The destruction of above-ground electronics across the country by the massive resulting electromagnetic pulse is followed by the Greater Korean Republic seizing Hawaii, an invasion of San Francisco, paratrooper deployments across the Midwest, and the irradiation of the Mississippi River to divide the United States in half, leaving the American military isolated and scattered and U.S. residents to resist the invasion on their own.
Gameplay
In homefront you play a former US marine named Robert Jacobs. Early in the game you find yourself as part of the resistance. A band of men who are resisting the Korean Occupation. I found this game fun to a certain extent but there where many downfalls in this game. To start the overall gameplay seemed a little bit slow and at some times boring to me. Knowing that you are running into a korean ambush every turn you make is not very interesting after a while. While the guns functioned well i found them extremely hard to use at times due to the recoil. On the bright side though there was always a lot of action to go around to keep you entertained.
Story wise i found the campaighn extremely short. There way around 6 missions that would last you through out 5-7hours of gameplay maximum. Other than that i rather enjoyed it. This game had one of the best back stories I have ever experienced and other than the short campaighn i had fun with the storyline. Another feature that is in the game is the many newspapers that you can pick up (much like enemy intel in MW2 or dogtags in Gears of War) but they where in extremely simple places and where not challenging to find at all. All up i would of liked a longer gaming experience.
Finally, in contrast with this there was a considerable ammount of glitches that are in this game witch usually made me have to restart the mission. I found myself holding 3 guns, Having no gun what so ever, Having half a gun, Bieng able to hover around the map and finally having a sniper rifle that shoots pistle bullets and a pistol that shoots sniper bullets. This greatly damaged the campaighn gameplay for me and therefore brought the game down in my opinion, this was not all bad though at some times i even had a little bit of fun when trying to find different glitches in this game.
Customisation
There was nothing special with the customisation in this game. There was no customisation in the campaighn but in the Multiplayer You have the option to customise your wepon camoflage, attatchments, Support Wepons, Viecles and things such as that. All up though i have seen it all in the call of duty and battlefield games. While the customisation have me a reason to level up it was mediocre at best.
Multiplayer
The multiplayer in this game is not to bad. The maps where made in a large scale sometimes making it hard to find people. A currency system was included also, this was called battle points. These are achived by killing enemies, supporting your team and winning the game. The multiplayer has support for up to 32-players with 16 players on each team, while this gave the multiplayer alot more action it also brought it down seeming that you could barely move out-doors without getting your head taken off by a sniper.
There are 7 maps on the PC and PS3 version of this game and 8 maps on the xbox version of the game, the maps feature a wide variety of settings ranging from small city fighting areas to a long mountain range. There is a leveling system where you can reach the level of 50 while playing the game, while this game me a good intent to level up i could not help to feel that it was near pointless for an unknown reason.
Finally Me, living in australia could not find a server from my own country therefore always getting matched up with american hosts. This caused me to lag in most games and this highly frustrated me eventually making me refuse to play this game online any more.
Difficulty
This game was at a much harder difficulty than games like CoD and Battlefield. While having 3 difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard) i could not help but to think that it is a little hard for people new to the concept of First Person Shooters. I found myself randomly getting shot when turning around corners and having to restart alot of missions due to me dying when i first got the game. I would only recommend this game for people that have been playing FPS for at-least six months.
Final comments
The game was good but it was nothing special. while having an entertaining campaighnn and a pretty good online it did not get anywhere near comparing to games such as Battlefield and CoD. Most people will end up thinking "why did i buy this game again?".
Overall: 5.5/10
I got this game when it first came out for $100 now you can buy it in store for like $20. I would not recommend getting this game unless you are out of options or have some money to burn and not wanting to save it. Reccomendation- Rent it from your local video store, it is now a weekly hire and you will be able to finish it very quickly.

The graphics were decent for the kind of game it was. The game was not intended to be realistic looking, so it kept the animated look. The graphics are good for the kind of game it was as the colors were very vibrant and there were lots of details. I give the graphics a 7.5/10.

The game did not really have any specific differences for the multiplayer from the single player, however the game kept people who were playing split screen and the people paying over Xbox Live entertained. I give the multiplayer a7/10

Bioshock 2

Storyline:
in Bioshock 2 you follow the silent "Subject Delta", or Johnny Topside from Bioshock 1.
You are on the quest to find your daughter Eleanor, who is being held by her Tyrannical mother, Sofia Lamb. As you progress throughout your journey your are dealt with the center of the new-rapture idea.
Synopsis:
BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Marin for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The sequel to the 2007 video game BioShock, it was released worldwide on February 9, 2010.
The game is set in the fictional underwater dystopia of Rapture, in a biopunk/dieselpunk 1968, eight years after the events of BioShock. The protagonist and player-controlled character is a Big Daddy, a being that has had its organs and skin grafted into an atmospheric diving suit. Among the first of its kind, the player-controlled Big Daddy, named Subject Delta, reactivates with no recollection of the past decade's events, and scours the city in an attempt to relocate the Little Sister that he was paired with. Fearing this reunion will ruin her plans for the city, Sofia Lamb sends out her spliced up followers that she calls "The Rapture Family" and new Big Sisters in an attempt to deter Delta.
In 2010, the game was included as one of the titles in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die.
My Review:
Overall:
In my opinion this is one of the funnest games of all time, I give it a 9.5/10 with the only thing even remotely damageable about the game is the multiplayer. Seeing it as a first try multiplayer takes up for that though. The reason I believe this game is one of the funnest games ever is because it has a high play-ability, the game will keep you playing time and time again. As your play the campaign it becomes more clear about the story, which will suck you in and sadden you at times. Lets face it though, no game goes without at least one sad scene.
Single Player:
A deep story wraps you in from the first scene, it provokes questions, with few answers in the beginning. As you reach the end, you'll be saddened because its over. unless you buy the "Minerva's Den" addon. which takes you into a new storyline as "Subject Sigma".
Multiplayer:
For being a first try, I think Irrational Games got it nearly perfect. with a high user base nearly 2 years after release, it shows that the quality of the game is that to be reckoned with.
Graphics:
This game has the dark, cartoon style game that many love in a RPG, Though Bioshock 2 is a FPSRPG.
Hopefully this is accepted, took a long time.
Thanks,
Zachman61

Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute.
Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to a new city, playing out the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen in Saints Row: The Third, the third chapter in the blockbuster open-city action series. Strap it on.
In Saints Row the Third, players again take on the role of The Boss, with plenty of backup from his comical crew however this time the story departs the familiar city of Stillwater, and goes to the New York stylized city of Steelport (it even has its own Statue of Liberty-esqe monument). From the very start of the game, you feel like a total bad-ass. Youre thrown in the middle of a bank heist gone wrong, and youre mowing people down like they were made of paper. In short, you feel like The Boss should feel.
