I doubt they'll ban you over this. They have made quite a few updates for the game already and the clan tag button glitch has been on the game since the first week of the game has came out. This is very easy to patch so they would've done it already if they were going to do so.

I don't see what the big deal is anyways... It just make's their name longer and easier to find when they're hiding or at a longer distance. It's pretty much saying "Hey, I'm over here!" Also, Offensive language? The game is rated M for a reason. It was vulgar words in the campaign, and the multiplayer. It is part of the game, that's what war's about..

So less than 1% of people have been ban from the game for "exploiting" the clan tag.

Facts please? thats right there are none. its not abuseing a glitch, or tampering. you simply put in 2 LEGAL characters and it makes another LEGAL character. this affect gameplay in no way shape or form, nor does it lag or glitch servers. 1/2 the CoD community has had and does still have the clan tags. they wont ban 1/2 of the community for a senseless glitch that gave them no advantage.. not to mention, not a single person got banned for glitching on outpost, they just warned that they may start banning and patched it fast. and that one ACTUALLY majorly affected gameplay.
i dont use the clan tag "glitch" btw. (and i use that word VERY loosely)

More like you don't this is a exploit and there for your not aloud to do this they have tweeted about this before as-well if you use such clan tag with any type of button's iw ect this is a clear ban-able offence.
