there are some jb out for the new ios5 on 4GS.
- Sn0wbreeze v2.8b11 to Jailbreak iOS 5 / iOS 5.0.1
- RedSn0w 0.9.9b8 to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 beta

This guys still working for a stable jb.

Semi-Untethered jailbreak = Tethered jailbreak + a package installed that allows you to reboot with limited use.

reccomend ,i do, that u use the redsn0w as there betteqer and ur phone doesnt get bricked, snowbreeze is a bad program that fails alot, redsnow is better, always search for redsnow or greenposion.
