Everyone above me don't know what they are talking about.

No, that computer will not run Battlefield at Medium - High settings.

If you're building a computer please leave your budget below/post.

If you are buying a pre-build one, If you want the best bang for the buck you should build your own system.

How to build a computer

Newegg Part 1 Teaching you the basics

Newegg Part 2 Building the computer

Other Option

Consists in 10 parts, begins here

Frostbite is right it won't run BF3 on med or higher maybe on a stretch low but not likely the processor is too weak to handle BF3. It might be able to play APB but also probably on a lower setting.

First off you need to upgrade to things.

1.The CPU
2.The Power supply

The CPU-
That processor is to weak to handle most games, i would suggest upgrading to the AMD Phenom X6 3.4ghz processor.

Power Supply-
You need more wattage, your computer will most likely burn up if there is not enough power for the equipment. Upgrade to at least a 850watt power supply.

Why would he upgrade to an AMD processor if he wants to play games? He should get a 2500k instead.

Also, he doesn't need an 850w PSU. It wouldn't be a bad thing to do, but he doesn't need that much. I would say 750w is perfectly fine after upgrading the CPU and GPU.

You will need a better video card to run BF3 on high.
