The Call of Duty franchise, like so many other shooters, suffers from the presence of cheaters and hackers in its popular online modes. But this could all change with Modern Warfare 3 and the introduction of the premium online service, Call of Duty Elite. Infinity Wards Robert Bowling revealed as much when speaking to GameSpy (via). "Theres been a lot of work put into it," he said." I cant go into specifics. On a general high level area theres so much more stuff that weve locked down and made less accessible than we had before. A lot of stuff that we stripped out, a lot more challenge response things that were doing Its about verifying what the code is supposed to be and what the code actually is on the client side, and making sure that those are aligned, he explained. Its also about our ability to take action when stuff is wrong so weve done a lot of work in our ability to update the game more quickly and efficiently than we have before. He continued: A lot of that stuff can be done through Elite that we can review. Then we have tools to report player stuff in game that players can use, and well have entire teams monitoring and taking actions on those. Thats certainly reassuring to hear, but can the team manage that kind of work load? Thats new for us," Bowling concluded." A lot of that stuff, the monitoring stuff, a lot of that was introduced in Black Ops but with Elite that is launching with Modern Warfare 3, were taking that in an all new area, having full teams dedicated solely to that. We have hard evidence upon any request or complaint by using this system."

Turn Off Theater Recording off: "BOTH" Controllers

* Once both controllers are signed in to your account and guest account. Go to the Main multiplayer menu and select the option tab. Then scroll down to the Theater Recording and switch the selection to " Disabled." Be sure to do this with "BOTH" controllers

Turn Your Profile To Offline

* Push the center "dashboard" button on your controller. Scroll all the way right to "settings" then down to "preferences" and select with "A" Button. Select "online status" and select "appear offline" for both Xbox live and Windows live messanger

* Sign into your Call of Duty Elite Account on your computer. On the top right of the screen their is a "My Account" tab. Select it and scroll down and choose "profile". Scroll down and highlight link account on either platform "xbox-Ps3" and the option "Unlink Account" will appear. Select it and confirm.
