Actaully Skrillex (sonny moore) is working with him and hes from America according to google i read all the comments and didn't see that posted also if you're English theirs a chance you will listen to the good old stuff im not saying theirs no chance if you're American but what happens when America gets hold of something is money and corporations and all that shit therefore the shitter dubstep progressively got and this term "filthy" started showing up Skrillex got his claws init and made the biggest pile of shitty noise!

Well i'm sick of 12 year olds thinking they know what dubstep is because they listened to Skrillex.

this is always a topic that bugs me, it tends to attract alot of people that know **** all about dubstep, mainly the sheep, they follow the crowd. Now we get everyone hating on skrillex but why? is it because he makes bad music? no. Is it because he ruined the genre? no. Skrillex simply adapted the genre to his own liking, rather than simply including the same generic bass wobble in his music. To be fair at this moment in time i wouldn't even class skrillex as a dubstep artist, his music is a mixture of electronic, glitch and dub. So why is it that people hate skrillex? ill tell you why, its because he's grown from being an emo kid in a rock band, to one of the worlds most successful electronic/dubstep artists in this time. The reason behind this is because of the electronic content in his music, it tends to attract a whole different scene of fans, and thats what 'dubstep' fans cant get their head around, the fact other people have a right to like the genre, even if they may not know alot about it.
