Everyone says they have got it to work, strange how not ONE of them seems to have any proof.

Old and patched, My boosting partner tried it when he was 4th and it didnt work, And it took away his prestige token

guys this does not work at all whoever says it does obvisly has not done this at all what happens whan you do it for example your ready to prestige you hover over enter prestige right when you click it unplug your cable but the problem is you disconnect way too fast from the mw3 server for the game to register anything at all trust me I tried and tried and tried at least 50 times with a lag switch too no success they did something with the servers to register the disconnect way quicker than other CoD's trust me I wish it did work if it did id be well i only wanted to go to 7th so id be 7th now lol so sorry everyone...

Yes it works but is very hard to do you have to time it.

And yes you get prestige tokens so no need to worry about that.
