So, i tried to download the new dashboard from xbox.com

So, i tried to download the new dashboard from xbox.comPosted:

so here i was thinking, well seeing as i am not doing anything and i want the new dashboard i thought to myself i'll just download it off of the xbox website.
i followed the instructions, unzip the folder and transfer the contents to a FAT32 formatted usb drive i did so, put the usb drive in my xbox, restarted it then an error message came up aND I got the RROD, i tried this about 4 times and the same result came up, i removed the usb drive an restarted my xbox and its working fine, whith the old dashboard of course, guess i'll just have to wait.

this is the link that i used its no use, once you follow the instructions all you get is red lights on your xbox untill you remove the usb drive.

It wont do anything for me, it dosent prompt for an update

make sure you followed the instructions correctly and are a FAT32 formatted usb drive, but you dont want it anyway, you cant connect to live
