Just a topic to discuss. Share a story of how bad they can be.
I feel like mine push me too hard. I have 2 Jobs, + Computer Repair Sevices & Lawn Care, however one of my jobs (American Eagle), I don't get too many hours with. They expect me to find a job by Friday, get an interview, be hired, and start work, all this week. If not, I have to give up my truck, and sell alot of things to be able to buy a new one. I volunteer in my school and community, I'm active on the weekends, and usually I'm at school or an event until 7-11:00 pm. I help around the house, but apparently not enough. The stress has gotten to me with all the pressure they put on me, and I'm considering just dropping everything. They expect me to excel far above average in school, have a social life, help in the community, and have a job where I am working 5-7 days a week, basically able to support them. Do you have any advice on how to handle a situation like this? Share your stories!

I would tell them that it's way to much stress for the age you are. Tell them you have only one youth and don't want to spend it like a slave...

Tried. They are the kind of parents that convince themselves they are right, and no arguing can change that.
