Oh yes!

All public schools in Glasgow (Scotland) are closed today due to the high wind that will be coming our way.

"All Glasgow City Council schools will be closed on Thursday 8 December following weather update from Scottish Government and Met Office.
5 hours ago"

The MET office has issued a red triangle for the area, this means that we need to "Take action and be prepared for the upcoming weather". These triangles only appear once or twice in a year (First time in 1 year).

Anyone else in Scotland and off school?
Or
Do you think that's a valid reason for schools to close?

yeah my school is closed.

The windz are 100mph !

the worst part will be at 3 pm to 6 pm , the 100mph winds
