They did ban people for it! I went to activision custom support and went on an online chat with an Activision employee and he said you can get banned for it but not many will be banned because how are they going to catch them in a 65 million population =/ and he said that you cant get banned for private match glitching but you can for online glitching..

Lag switching is a ban-able offense..
Spec ops mods online is a bannable offense..
Clan tag buttons was a glitch in the coding so exploiting was an official ban-able OFFENSE

It was patched in today, November the 9th's update. Its not an "Easter Egg" LOL.

Patched today. My clan tag was removed, and I didnt get a ban. Im guessing the ban is only for people with offensive words. If you just put a few random symbols you should be fine

lol IMO I actually think the Annoying Clantag glitchers should be reset! if they put in bad words, just for the hell of it because i got banned for boosting when it doesnt hurt anyone else but me if anything!
