PM me when you have it!
I kind of need to know what form factor you want at that budget. Over-ear, on-ear, in-ear, etc.

Budget: Can go up to 200$ (but they have to be good for that price )
Music preference: D&B, Dubstep, Rock, Hip hop, underground, salsa, merengue and ect...
but mostly rock, D&B and Hip hop
Type / form factor and portability: I mostly used them for the university, so i prefer them for being able to walk with them.
But i use my turtle beach for going to class, soooo portability does not really matter, but more a matter of preferences
Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Dont really care, but from what i read, open is better, but you're the expert here.
Source(s): Laptop, Tv, ipod touch (cellphone sometimes)

Man, I really recommend these a lot. I'm going to have to suggest you get some Audio Technica ATH-M50s. They're available for under 150 bucks, but perform way above their price point. They also have a neutral sound signature, so they'll do well with almost all music. Since you listen to a mix of genres, neutral sound is what you're looking for. They're built well and fold up so they're very portable.

radishluver22 wrote Ok well you reccomended my friend the Audio Technica ATH M50s, and he said they're highly rated and are like the 2nd or 3rd highest rated headphones on google, but I'm faced with a dillema, in a way.
I'm trying to decide on either the ATH M50s or Studio Beats.
The Beats look REALLY cool (my friends will be super jealous if they see me with studios, as they all have the solos.
But, the M50s are supposedly insane.
So it's like a mac vs. pc battle; i can either get the shiny overpriced ones or the cheaper better headphones.
Can you tell me which headphones i should get? and whichever you choose, move me to those very well, i want to be 100 percent sure i get the headphones i want.
Thanks
If you can afford Studios and you want to impress your friends, the M50s are a good choice, but there are more effective options. Since Beats are bassy and young'uns these days like tons of bass, show them some real bass. The M50s have good bass, but it's not the focal point of the headphone. They're meant to be neutral sounding, and are in an entirely different league from the Beats in terms of sound quality. I find that people can't recognize this, because all they hear is bass. It's really annoying. Bass is worthy of being sought after, but not above other parts of the spectrum.
So, I give you the Ultrasone Pro line. Bassy, but uncompromising with mid and highs. Bass on cheap headphones like Beats focuses on quantity, not quality. The result is loose, slow, muddy, and short bass. With Ultrasones, you get quantity and quality. Beats fans will immediately want to sell theirs, unless they get really defensive. They know they're wrong, but won't admit it. It's funny to watch them.
Another thing you'll like. They look awesome.

They have models for a good range of prices, but the Pro 750 is probably the best choice for you. They don't require and amp like the Pro 900s do, and I'm assuming they're within your price range. If not, there are lower models like the DJ1 Pro.

Yeah, but it's a matter of getting the most amazing, with me. With no prior experience, someone could walk into a store and try the Beats Pros and proclaim them to be amazing. That's like being in the market for a new house, going to an open house for only one, and saying it is the house you want without seeing any of the other houses. Beats Pros, like the house, are more than likely not the best out there. Sure enough, Beats Pros are one of the WORST headphones out there. You just bought crappy headphones!
Catch my drift? Also, what kind of music do you like? It's hard to go off just a budget, especially at higher price points.
