Im wanting to make a Iphone app or Indie Game where do i start and should i do the project solo or in a team???

Well if you do a team you should be able to contribute, I suggest trying Unity3D.

Java is where you start. Then soon you will have to ask Apple to put it in their store.

No, but to publish it I think you will need a license.

I wouldn't start with Java if you are making an ios app as you would be completely wasting your time as the language to build ios apps in is objective c. Also you will need a mac if you want it to go onto the app store.
