I have nothing running on my computer, yet 1.11 GB of RAM is being used... Why is this? Is this a sign of a virus? Please Help.

Yea probably can be a sign of a virus. Download Malewarebytes and Antivir and run a full system scan to see if you have any type of infection in your pc.

Kid, your computer has system programs that run, goto task manager-process and then you'll see your system has things running, programs on your computer run in the background too.

Lol because his profile says he is 15.
OT: TTG_LiiMi7z is right, if your computer doesn't have any processes running ... it means it's not turned on lol This is normal. Also, no virus would take up that much RAM on it's own anyways lol
