You own Beats and call Aiaiai TMA-1s and Sennheiser HD 25s fragile? Ha! It's the other way around. Beats are well-known to be some of the poorest-built headphones out there. The HD 25s are known to be built like a tank. TMA-1s are built pretty well, too, outclassing the Beats by quite a bit.
Looks are subjective, and if you like that big gaudy "b" with the cheap plastic finish, that's you. Glossy plastic headphones, though? I never understood this.
It's not a matter of opinion that other headphones that are cheaper sound better than the Beats. Frequency response graphs and other audio measuring equipment have proved that Beats produce much worse sound than other headphones, like the ones I recommend here. Detail retrieval, extension, clarity, and balance are all things that can be measured.

x_PhOeNiXx_o wrote I'm getting Beat Studio's for christmas, I've used other peoples and I like them, despite how so many people hate them.
But just out of interest, for the same price as Studio beats (Mine were 150GBP) what other headphones could I have got that are better?
Ultrasone Pro 750s, Ultrasone DJ1 Pros, Audio Technica ATH-M50s, Sony XB700s, Koss DJ100s, the list goes on. These are just a few notable ones, arranged from high to low price. The Pro 750s are actually cheaper than your Studios. All of these headphones are much better than the Studios, and more on the level of the Pros (even outclassing the Pros, actually).

Since you didn't give very many specifics, this is going to be more of a list. High prices to low.
Over-ear: Sony XB700, Koss DJ100, Sony XB500
On-Ear: Koss Portapro, Koss KSC75, Koss KSC35
In-ear: Hippo VB
Tell me if you need help finding anything. The Hippo VBs can be found with Google, sold by Jaben.

If only the conversion rate was right with the prices of headphones. That's like 450 USD. Unfortunately, the prices are not what I thought they would be.

These are some of the best on-ear headphones that are bassy at this price. Over-ears are probably not the best if you're mobile, and since you're listening from portable players, it sounds like you are. Another option would be the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II.

Save a little money and get the Ultrasone Pro 750. They'll make any Beats look like crap, and sound like crap. I mean, look at these.

And people think Beats look good.
These also fold up, have a removable cable, and do not need to be amped, yet respond well to it should you decide to use an amplifier.
Sound quality on these should make them Monster's worst nightmare. They have the same bassy signature as Beats, but the bass is of higher quality. It extends better, is not muddy-sounding and overwhelming, and doesn't mess up your trebles or midrange.
They don't have active noise cancellation, because frankly, the technology is terrible for headphones that you listen to music with. Passive isolation is much better because it doesn't rely on batteries or affect the quality of the music, and these headphones isolate very well. The velvet earpads will make them extremely comfortable, too.

Hope I helped you!
