I just wonder why?
They could be better than you but they snipe often and never have good teams so you kick them?
I drop 70+ kills a game any map when i try hard and you judge off my k/d not knowing.

a person who has over a 2 k/d is generally going to be better than someone with a 1, 1.5.
Someone with a 3+ consistently does well, and most likely plays objective based game types (ie, not tdm, kc).
Personally, i judge off of k/d then w/l. My friend has a 3.2 k/d and an 11 w/l, imo he is amazing. Ive seen kids with like 3.5-4, with under a 1 w/l. They obviously don't play the gametype

Ya I agree it's stupid.
People can inflate their k/d ratios in boosting lobbies if they want so the stat doesn't mean a whole lot anyway.
The thing is that people crave that platform to show off or to judge and be judged. That's why games like World of Warcraft are so popular; you grind hours upon hours to get gear so that you can get even better gear and have higher numbers on your character profile.
Same is true with pretty much every multiplayer game out there nowadays, it's all a grind to have the biggest & best numbers.
The only exception I can see is when you're dealing with top-competitive teams and they need some sort of bar to allow newcomers in. When you're talking about casual/pub style gameplay though the numbers are just an illusion that people care about to make themselves feel good.
I'm only around 1.6 K/D so I know I'm not great; but I also like to have fun, I mess around with Riot Shields and Quickscoping (even though I'm horrible at it) because it makes me laugh and have a good time. If I tryharded all day every day my numbers could be a bit higher but it's not very important to me.
edit: If k/d ratios are that important to someone there are so many effective ways to inflate it; playing Free-for-All if you're half decent is like a free ticket to a 2.0+ ratio if you play enough; for example someone with a 1.5 in TDM could easily be a 2.0+ in FFA most of the time. Same goes for playing objective gametypes like Domination, if you just kill and don't play the objective you can get ridiculous k/d ratios on a regular basis -- your win percentage may suffer tho.

ummm because i Quickscope/go for clips /play objective and s=still g=have a 1.34 KD.
IMO if you have less than a 1.0 your REEEALLLY BAD but if you are 1.0 and above then your average, anything above 1.8 is tryhard

Who cares. K/D doesn't do anything for you in the real world. Just play the game for fun.

That is the worst excuse ever. People who blame their low K/D on objectives are idiots, it just means they aren't thinking at all and run mindlessly to the objective.

mine stays around 1.32 on all the CoD games, know why? all I give a shit about is playing the objective, I die alot trying to cap flags/plant the bomb, you may have a 2.50 KDR but you're win/loss ratio is probably not above 1.50

I agree with you. People don't understand that there are people that don't try to do good all the time.. They play for fun.

It wasnt an excuse , infact I'm with you but if you play for KD rather than objective , you will have a higher KD
