How about you go tryhard when you play with OTHER tryhards. Such as MLG. or any other competitive teams that like to "tryhard" until then, dont ruin the fun for all the other normal and fun wanting people. It doesnt make you look good or anything. People just get annoyed. Tryhards= die.

I'm not saying "tryharding" is bad. In fact I typically say kids that DONT tryhard are scrubs, since winning is typically superior to losing.

However my point is that there's a point where it goes from "playing a game" to "doing a chore" and it all depends on your individual threshold.

I've played hundreds of consecutive games with the Type 95, using more-or-less the exact same strategy and doing decently well with it. Then one day I get on my console to play, and realize something, "This isn't fun. I've been doing the same damn bloody thing for 10 days straight playing the same exact way using the same exact weapons." So I equip the Riot Shield, and start trolling around the map slamming people, and you know what? I started smiling, and laughing out loud at how funny it was. Sure my k/d for those games was pretty terrible, often below 1.0, but I was having more fun than I'd had in the last few days of playing with my Type 95 or Akimbo FMG9s.

So yes, tryharding is fine, it's encouraged most of the time, but it's also fine to have fun, and if tryharding means you're sacrificing some fun (by being bored) then it's good to mix things up once in awhile. Not everyone's the same, some people have "fun" by tryharding, and all the power to those people -- I play a game some of you may have heard of called League of Legends, I play it semi-competitively, and always tryhard in that game, because it's fun for me to win in that game and tryharding never gets boring. Some probably feel that way when it comes to CoD and that's great for them.

Second off. I don't have a crappy K/d mine is decent for a sniper/reg gunner Im not complaining im asking.
