There's 8 main weapons that people use in this game (Battleaxe, Bow, Dagger, Greatsword, Mace, Sword, War Axe, and the Warhammer).

Out of all of those, which do you prefer to use?

Or perhaps you prefer to use magic?

Personally I prefer the mace, sword, and war axe.
But mainly the war axe.
I use it because the mace does the most damage, then war axe, then the sword. And the sword is the fastest, then the war axe, then the mace is the slowest of the 3, so the war axe is pretty much balanced between each.

My setup:
Weapon: Daedric War Axe in right hand (Legendary, 89 damage, 18 weight, also burns the target for 12 points)

Apparel:

Amulet of Talos (reduces time between shouts by 20%)

Dragonplate Armor (Legendary, 104 armor, 40 weight, stamina regenerates 8% faster)

Dragonplate Boots (Legendary, 43 armor, 8 weight, One-handed attacks do 10% more damage)

Dragonplate Gauntlets (Legendary, 43 armor, 8 weight, One-handed attacks do 15% more damage)

Dragonplate Helmet (Legendary, 51 armor, 8 weight, no enchantment)

Dragonplate Shield in left hand (Legendary, 68 armor, 15 weight, blocks 15% more damage)

Ring of Wielding (One-handed attacks do 20% more damage)

I also use the Ice Form shout when in combat and the Whirlwind Sprint shout when traveling.
