I'm trying to get windows back on my old pc but get i disk read error as i think windows was uninstalled and am now using a version of puppy linux off a disk. I have no **** idea how to sort this its frying my brain. HELP!

If you have a windows disk:
Put the disk in, format your harddrive, start up your pc, boot from disk then install.

the disks i have are copies and one doesnt even start, the other says windows is loading files and i get up to the background and a bnlank prompt box pops up so i click the ok button and my pc restarts i have no idea what to do.
