You can't just ask to be a sniper, you need to qualify basic training and another basic role like infantryman.

it was once my dream to be in the RAF, I thought everything would be OK until I snapped back to reality and realised I just wouldn't be able to.
Sure you can join but don't make stupid decisions at 15 which are potentially life threatening and changing.

Human, you're quite very wrong. My AFCO told me about his tour in Afghanistan and he was trying to discourage me from joining. It depends who you go and see, some will say its all glory and medals, others will say its hell.

Human, you're very wrong. He told me he wanted to join the Army as an officer, right? That means when he joins, it will be past 2015. British and American Forces will all be out in 2015, therefore, he won't be captured by the Taliban.
