Before anybody traveled around the world, almost every culture told stories of dragons. Isn't it odd that they all talked about dragons (Possibility they might be real!)? Maybe dragons had cartilage instead of bone like sharks which is why a skeleton was never discovered (Cartilage disintigrates when the animal dies). Having cartilage instead of bone would also allow them to fly easily as their body structure would be lite.

This is a really good theory, but are you sure all cultures talk of a dragon like creature . Im not so sure but again good theory

but then y in runescape i can bury dragon bones?!? so they must have bones!...maybe these beasts chewed up the dragon bones and ate them...so then the dragon bones are just pieces....little bits of tiny dragon bones.

This is true but from what he's saying is kinda a good argument
cartilage would explain most things but wouldnt there be like pelts? or something from when humans tried to kill them?
