Note: The corsair 400R is a GREAT case for gaming, provides everything you need (Airflow, cable management, tool-less features ect)

Thanks alot for taking the time to help, I really do appreciate it.
Really liking the list you provided but have a few questions:

Is the Intel Core i5 better then AMD Phenom II X6 1075t for gaming?
Is the AMD Radeon HD 6970 better/worse then the graphics card you provided? (Proble is worse considering the price, but is it better value?)

Thanks for your time and feeback.

Yes the i5 2500k is a "Gaming CPU" and the 6970 is better than the 6950, but. In my opinion you should get that 6950 2GB, since all the parts listed are quality parts and not crappy ones. Because a 6970 with a crappy CPU, PSU, Ect, is a worse option.

I recommend you get that build that I listed.

Maybe your right but I'm not looking for a top line hardcore gaming PC.

I'm looking for one that will pay most/all games with good graphics and smooth gameplay.

So you are looking for a really good gaming PC.
After personal experience Nvidia are a lot better I recommend getting one.
also make sure you have a suitable case as it does nit have to look cool but it must be able to sustain the cooling apparatus required for your machine to run well also invest in a liquid cooler thy work like a charm !

Just recently built my own computer. Spent about 600-700 on it. Runs everything fine.
Everything in that basket looks good. Just, is that all your getting or have you got all the other parts already?
