What do you get for going to a certain point in the mages guild?
like the Blade of Woe and the Dark Brotherhood Armor
or is there anything like that for the mages guild?

Yes, you get the Staff of magnus and the Archmage's robes (The Robes Savos Aren Wears)

Yes, you get the Staff of magnus and the Archmage's robes (The Robes Savos Aren Wears)

Archmage robes regenerate magicka 100% faster where as the staff of magnus is usefull for mini quests from tolfdir
