hey so i have this blackberry and the charging port is broken on it so i cant plug the charger in and charge it.
but i have a external charger which charges the battery by itself and not through the phone.
the problem i am having is when i put the battery back in my phone after it has been charging it shows a solid red light and does nothing!
i have tried to turn it on using the on/off button but no luck
if you have any ideas please help! i know this is kinda a unusual thing to ask but yeah... i have been looking for a solution for ages ! thanks!

Leave the battery out for a few hours/days or get a new one.

Its most likely your battery inside the phone.
I suggest going to your nearest phone shop, and I'm sure they could get you a new one.
