I have heard from a pod2g himself that he is not going to release the 5.0.1/5.1 unteathered jailbreak until apple releases their 5.2 firmware. this is purely so that apple do not know which 'loopholes' he has exploited, and so his jailbreak may work on the new firmware.
This is just to let you guys know, as i know many people are waiting for the release- but unfortunately you are going to wait a little longer.

check his blog... tweet him on twitter... doesnt take much to talk to him, cant get on either of those as im at work and both sites are blocked...
so you GTFO, and go find out for yourself if you dont believe me. it makes perfect sense for him to release it after the next firmware release.

"5.2 firmware" 5.1 has got to come yet.
And before 5.1, there could even be 5.0.2..

The untethered jailbreak will be released for 5.0.1, which has been said..
Why would he wait another 2, maybe 3 major updates to release it?

When he's already stated "Now the time to finalize the jailbreak for old devices, fix some stability issues and package the whole.That will take some days."

5.0.1 is completely different.

5.1 hasn't been released yet. It's the upcoming release either instead of, or after 5.0.2.

No 5.0.1 is a seperate iOS from 5.1 :facepalm:
