Bluecraft
BlueCraft is a fun new faction wars server where you can create you own faction and compete for the ultimate honor of winning a faction wars.
About Faction wars:
Factions incorporates land control with pvp elements to MineCraft. You are given chest protection, door protection, and furnace protection. You also take less damage by enemies in your own territory. However, if your Faction's members die amount of times in Y amount of time your Faction is prone to lose your land and everything you worked for.
What does this mean for you? Will you lose everything? The answer simply is, you will either defeat players, or be defeated based on how well you and your team play. Find the best players for your Faction, and destroy everybody.

Rules
Here are some very basic rules:
1. All Factions are PVP and as such can be attacked by any other Faction. Having a legit reason would be nice for purpose of Game play. But you could be attacked simply for the purpose of conquering land.
If you do not wish to be involved in Faction PVP you have 2 options listed at the end of this Document.
Causes for War: (Examples)
The cause for war must be reasonable, akin to war in the real world:
-Killing an opposing faction's member(s) is bound to spark a conflict, unless both parties agreed to a duel. If a member of your faction kills a member of another faction, be prepared for the war that will likely ensue.
-Insults also create tension. Unless you are ready to go to war, do not seek to aggravate other factions.
-Power will always play a part in a war between factions, as it is usually the end reward of the winner. This is only applicable if both factions agreed to go to war, as it can be easily abused otherwise.
-Land is nearly equal to power, and is just as easily abused. It is only applicable if both factions have a chance to gain some of the opposing faction's land during the conflict.
2. A Formal Declaration of War must be made 24 hours in Advance by the Factions wishing to Declare War by posting on the Forums in the proper section. The Opposing Faction has this 1 day (24 hours from the time of Posting the Declaration) to respond. They may attempt a negotiation for peace Or post Their acceptance of the war. The Faction declaring the war may attack after the 24 hours, regardless if negotiations are in the works or if the other Faction has not responded.
I would also suggest Faction members keep each other in check or you could have some members that drag you into a war you dont want due to their actions. This Thread must be updated when the War is over stating the outcome of the war.
3. Factions have allies. If your ally goes to war you go to war so Wars can get ugly fast choose your allies carefully or you could get dragged into a war you dont want.
4. Land and any buildings/items on said land claimed by an opposing faction becomes that Factions to do with as they please. Remember before another faction can claim land they must kill a member of your faction to lower your power, and claiming of land can ONLY be done during War.
5. Magic is permitted in War. Walls may be exploded, players hit with lighting, fireballs etc.
While Flint and Steel will not catch wood on fire within a Factions protected areas Fireballs will burn stuff. Have buckets of Water handy and build accordingly. Outside of War Magic MAY NOT be used on a Factions structures. This is Greifing.
6. Destruction of defensive structures of the other Faction is allowed in War. These are walls, barricades, towers and/or tunnels:
It is encouraged as good conduct and honor in war not to damage Civilian structures. After all if you conquer the land you might want the structures and items intact.
Ensure civilian homes are not connected to walls and/or other defensive structures. In other words have good planning on structure placement. You may dig though walls create tunnels to breach Defensives, etc. Remember if the area is protected by the Faction you cannot break any blocks. However certain magic spells will destroy even protected Faction Defenses.
7. IF you are Killed by an opposing Faction Member your items can be taken. You may ONLY take a players Items if the Factions are at War. If no declaration of war has been made and you RDM and steal anothers players items you will be Temp Banned.
8. Please show some respect and avoid excessive PVP kills of a player upon his re-spawn. They will have no armor or weapons. Attacking an unarmed foe is NOT very Noble. However make sure you sleep in a BED so you do not re-spawn where you died. This will help prevent Excessive PVP deaths/kills and loss of your Factions power in War. If the Player is killed in PVP and Factions are not at war, Please be respectful and a good sport. If you are asked to help collect and return items do so, if the player needs the cords of where he died so he can return for his items tell them.
9. End of War.. The end of a War comes about by negotiating terms of surrender or by the destruction/disbanding of one of the Factions involved in the war. The Topic for the declaration of war on the Forums Must be updated with the outcome.
10. Fishing rods are acceptable for pulling enemies off of fortified locations.
11. Wars should be conducted in the RP channel of chat not in the Global channel. If you Spam the Global channel with War Messages you will be warned. If you continue you will be kicked. If you return and it continues you will be Temp Banned.
12. All Normal Server Rules Still Apply. Show respect during the War, Dont be rude this is just a Game. You do not have to be at war to in order to have PVP fights. Just remember. Outside of war you may not take anothers items if you kill them in PVP. You may not claim another Factions land even if you kill one of its members in PVP if you are not at war with that Faction. Random Meaningless Deaths are still not allowed. You can still not just Run up to someone and attack them.
13. As with Everything Else Admins and Moderators have jurisdiction over everything on the Server. If your War is getting out of hand or you are breaking Server rules we will take action. We will Kick players,Temp Ban or Permanently Ban the parties involved. We will disband your Faction. Or take any other action we deem appropriate based on the Rules Broken. If players prove they are not capable of having Wars We will remove PVP and Factions.
14. As with anything Rules are subject to change without notice.
