Come on! Been trying for 2 hours

I assume you are talking about Brynjolf as the guy who goes away.

These are the following solutions:

- Reload from a previous save
- Talk to Brynjolf when you get to the point of him about to walk off
- Leave the area and return to the Thieves Guild and wait a while before returning
- Leave the area, continue with some other quests and then return

Tried Those methods, it's annoying me!

As soon as the new quest starts, he goes

If this is possible, find a save before you started the quest that might fix it if not then sorry your outa luck man it's the game it might be patched in a few weeks.

ok if your playing on xbox 360, what i would suggest is this there are a few methods that might help.

1.Save your game on a seperate save slot, Go to dashboard then re launch the game, asoon as the screen goes black hold the A button down and dont let go untill the "press Start" appears let go of a and try now see what happens.

2.if the above did not work try this, go to dashboard go to memory and clear your system cache i believe its by pressing Y, be carefull not to format your harddrive just to clear its cache, now upon loading you will have to repatch your game, do this and see if it has fixed the bug.


3.if the above 2 solutions do now work you can allways try attacking him OR using unrelenting force to nock him over, it can sometimes help.
