About 7-8 posts down an Infinity Ward developer called G IH A IN ID II says:

Exploting this glitch is a bannable offense with possible further ramifications.



We are actively sweeping player profiles to identify offenders.



A fix for the glitch is cued up ready to go live.

The fact that they are already checking peoples profiles - before the fix has gone out - means they must be p1ssed!

I don't think they care HOW many people do it there will be resets / bans all over the place.

I was so tempted to do this because everyone said that you can't get banned. However, last time people said that, I did something and my Xbox profile got permanently banned.

I almost did it too, but thank god I didn't. Also my friend messaged me last night saying he has -500 prestige tokens, I kind of feel bad for him, not.
