Ok, I only tried this for about a week or so. The results differ by the amount of times you do this. Not saying there's a point in boosting in yahoo answers. Just did this because I was bored one day. You receive or lose points for everything you do on yahoo answers. Getting a best answer get you 10 points. This is the most you can get for anything. Here are my results after 1 week.

Getting Started

Go to the top of the yahoo answers home page (after signing in), and click the Answer button here:

This should take you to this page:



Now you can either select "Questions in All Categories" or you and select a specific category. Once you get to the category you want to answer questions in, you must short the questions by fewest answers. next, skip to about page 7. You want to answers questions with zero answers that are old.


Now you just select a question, and give it an answer! if you dont know the actual answer, you can just give it a stupid answer like you dont even understand the question. try not to troll because you could be reported.



NEXT

Now you wait a day or two. Check your recent answers, and most of the questions you answered will be "Voting." Now you just open all of the questions and give your self one vote. This will ensure that you get best answer 9 out of 10 times.

If you fallowed the steps correctly then yours answer pages should look like this.



NOTES:
This could take a few days if they extend their answer.
Also, a lot of these answers are old because I did this a while back and was too lazy to go and answer all of these questions all over again
