I don't understand the problem with people exploiting a glitch in the game. It just goes to show that if the makers of the game put a little bit more effort and insight into making a better quality game then there wouldn't be glitches for people to exploit. As far as the prestige token glitch, it honestly does not make any single player better or give them an unfair advantage. I'd bet that most people who did the glitch did it for the double xp and double weapon xp. People want to play a game that is fun and enjoyable. They also don't want to spend 10 days of their lives to get to the highest level. There is no advantage in being a 10th prestige over a 1st prestige. The only thing you have more of is play time and experience playing the game. Being a higher rank doesn't disgrace the leaderboards, but having an unfair advantage over other players does (ex. aimbot, infinite care packages). Banning and resetting people only turns them away from the game. If the game makers want more loyal customers, encourage them to cheat and find exploits. As soon as they are found, put in some work to patch the game so that others can't follow suit. They should not be punished for finding flaws in the game but rewarded by being allowed to continue to play the game. No one that did the prestige token glitch was any better because of it. You might argue that they could have any gun or any perk at level 4 without having to work for it, big deal. They could also have prestiged in other COD's and unlocked the same weapons. You might also argue that you can't unlock better guns until a higher level. Well then that would be true but also the game makers fault for making uneven powered weapons. I say let the cheaters/exploiters go free and play the game. Everyone want to have fun and be a higher rank. Some put in 10 days of playing time to get there and some put in 20. Either way, those who cheat to get there faster, still only want to play and enjoy the game.
