Okay so it turned off my xbox and got in bed and i swore i saw a green flash then i was like nahhh im just tired but then i noticed the power button on my xbox is blinking green while being shut off can anyone tell me why?

I was wondering the same thing my xbox started doing the same thing once i downloaded the new dash

You have background downloads on. When you shut off your Xbox while you are downloading something it will keep blinking until it is done, and when it is, it will shutoff by itself.

This is due to background downloading, or if you have a plugin play connected to a dead rechargeable controller.

Im not downloading anything and it still does that for like 30 seconds

Like he said background downloading or you have something plugged in. Make sure you have background it is in your prefrences.

This is background downloading,as everyone else pointed out,it enabled automatically with the new update. Its in settings to disable it.
