What happens? Perhaps the answer to this question will never be solved.
For the people out there who don't know, when you die your brain releases endorphines which is like a drug kinda. This is a common assumption to why people see visions right when they die and come back to life. Nobody has ever been dead long enough for the endorphines to wear off, so it's not posotive if your "heaven" if you will, is actually there. In this thread, we will discuss and express our opinions.
Religion
I know a bunch of people are religious, so I am NOT saying religion is fake as I am a Christian, but not a real deep religious person.
First off, if there was a heaven, then this entire theory and thread is 100% useless, even so there might be several different outcomes.
1. You be a great person all your life! Maybe in Heaven, as they say in Greek mythology, there is divisions in who did what and how they were as a person. Now nothing bad, but just maybe the murderers go to one section, while the guy with a few kids and a wife he never divorced or cheated on, who doesn't have a criminal record, and did community service goes to another section. Simple as that.
2. Hell. I simply don't wish to elaborate on this because I believe God forgives all.
Science and Theories
1. When people say "my life flashed before my eyes" before they had a head on collision in a car, their brains' most likely ran through a "scan" if you will, to check if there was a solution to keep them safe, just like a computer. Also, this could be an effect from adrenaline or, as I mentioned earlier, endorphines, but very unlikely. Who knows, maybe your brain says it wants to show a movie of your life to you?
2. People who have been killed and brought back to life say they have "life changing experiences". This could be very well true if they have something similar to what we know as a "Placebo" effect, were your brain thinks it is doing something it's not and sends your body signals. Once again, I'm not proving anything, just making a statement.
3. As I recently mentioned earlier, the release of endorphines. Many scientist believe that this is the answer to the question of "Heavan or Hell, Angles and Demons", as it very likely could be.
When your body dies, your brain releases and chemical called endorphines, which is similar to a hallucinagenic drug, although we do not understand how long it lasts or stays in the brain. Maybe it will stay there forever because there is not blood flow? If this were true, maybe science and religion actually do cross paths at a certain checkpoint.
Spirits
1. Out of Body Experiences "OBE's", are when you see yourself in a third person perspective such as Gears of War . But on a more serious note, I believe this is caused from your spirit. Somehow you project yourself from your body and see yourself, looking from a doctors point of view. Many say that this is how they traveled to their Heaven.
Reancarnation
1. What I think would be awesome is if you were a good person in your life, after you died you would comeback to life as another human. But, if you died a bad person (very bad like murder people) then you will come back up from the bottom (bacteria>magget>fly>worm>butterfly>etc.) until you reach human again.
That is all I really have come up with for now. Tell me what you guys think and I will add more to the thread!

I myself must say I believe in Heaven, I am a Christian and so is my entire family.
Perhaps it does exist and perhaps it doesn't, we will never know until we die eh? And if it doesn't then life will be just like it was before, nothing. Just pure nothing, you'll never even know you had a life if it doesn't exist, but we'll find out later in time won't we?
To continue, many people do not believe in Heaven because they don't think an all-powerful force above us exists, many question how "God" came to be. If he does exist (and I believe he does) then I hope the many that never believed in him (or were followers of "Satan") are forgiven and taken into his kingdom. I hope we all travel to a better place one day .
I am sorry if my post offends you in any way but this topic does involve religious discussion.
(Perhaps the people that die really DO see Heaven, or perhaps they are, as you said, hallucinating and they think they are seeing Heaven. As I said before, we'll find out soon enough )
