I'm building my first PC ,
the specs are going to be ,
AMD Athlon II x3 450 (3.2GHZ) (UNLOCKED TO QUAD CORE 650)
8gb of cosair RAM
BIOSTAR A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX decent motherboard i need that HDMI slot
Radeon HD 6850 with 1GB

also i have a 600W power supply in my basement brand new not opened.

any suggestions, and will i be able to run , SWTOR, Diablo 3, WoW, BF3, MW3 on high-ultra ?

my main concerns are the MMORPGS i have an Xbox so the shooters don't really matter

ok dude if you wish to play diablo 3 etc wow nd other high end games it mainly depends on graphics card memory consumption so get a 2-3gig graphics cars which can handle graphics and the 2nd factor is the power supply this can all run off of and the how the processor manages itself when running games and managing graphics so your on the right line i would say that would be decent for medium end graphics if you wish to have high end i would switch to a i7 3 or above ghz but apart from that you should be decent enough for the situation

thanks for the detailed response, i've done my research and my option of 4GB of ram isnt viable, i need the 8 GB to run smoothly, also my GFX card, Can run all the above games (MINUS BF3) at ultra at a steady 75-100 FPS , so i should be well off ! thanks for the response!!

I would go with an Nvidia Graphics Card...

NVIDIA cards generally perform better then AMD, they are just slightly more expensive.

ive had a rig with nvidia before.. it didnt work to well for me AT ALL , i cant stand them

ive had a rig with nvidia before.. it didnt work to well for me AT ALL , i cant stand them

Maybe because you got a bad model or it was defective?
