Hey TTG,

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Are you a noob at battlefield? Do you die every game like 10 times or just find ways to kill yourself? Well I am here to help, strap on your helmet and pull out your pistol because I am going to turn you noobs into legends.

Note I am not the most amazing battlefield player ever, but I know how to play the game somewhat effectively.

1.Don't Rush

This may seem pretty easy, but actually it is pretty hard to adapt. In cod you normally run around to get a lot of kills right? And also if someone kills you, you rush to find them and get revenge, right?

Don't do that in Battlefield, I am not saying camp just stay back and move through the maps slowly. Try and stick with your squad and have them help, which brings me to my next tip. But if you do rush, rush with squad and go straight for objective.

2. Stick With Your Squad.

Generally when i play Cod I lone wolf. In Battlefield that can work, but its better just to stick with your squad.

One reason is they can support you (Ex) They put different classes in the game for reason. You could have one person be medic and revive and heal players, and you could have a support player giving ammo.

Second reason is they can give you more points then staying lone wolf (Ex) assists are worth more points with your squad so then it will help you rank up faster and more.

3.Stay Away From Flying Vehicles

Can't stress this enough don't get in the helicopters or jets to act cool because you will probably end up crashing them.

4.Play The Objective

Very important part of the game. Nobody cares about your KD(kill death ratio) as long as you play objective. Help your squad and team and please play the objective.

5.Use Your Tools

Each kit comes with special tools for it. Use the tools!! They can help your squad which then in turn helps your team win the game.

Maps

Battlefield 3 will feature 9 multiplayer maps across 5 game modes. Each map will support each game mode: Rush, Squad Rush, Team Deathmatch, Conquest and Conquest 64. On top of the 9 maps, there will be an additional 4 maps as part of the Back to Karkand expansion pack. Heres the list of maps confirmed for Battlefield 3:

Operation Metro

The first Battlefield 3 map to be showcased is Operation Metro, which was playable during E3 2011. The map is set in Paris, where the battlegrounds range from parks, to city streets, to underground subways.

Caspian Border

Caspian Border is large, open Battlefield 3 maps with 64 player support and features both jets, helicopters, tanks, APCs and many other vehicles.

Operation Firestorm

Operation Firestorm is a desert map set around an oil refinery. It features both jets, helicopters, tanks and more.

Grand Bazaar

Grand Bazaar is an infantry-focused map with a dense urban setting.

Damavand Peak

Damavand Peak is set around the snowy mountains of Damavand in Iran.

Tehran Highway

Tehran Highway is a nighttime map set in and around the capitol of Iran, Tehran.

Kharg Island

Kharg Island is based on the real-world island off the coast of Iran.

Seine Crossing

Centered on a crossing of the famous French river Seine.

Nosharh Canals

Noshahr Canals is based on the Iranian province of Noshahr in northern Iran.

Gulf of Oman

A Battlefield 2 remake, Gulf of Oman for Battlefield 3 will retain much of the same visual style and a very similar desert setting, with both urban areas and more wide-open spaces for tank and jet combat.

Sharqi Peninsula

Sharqui Peninsula was a tight, urban map in Battlefield 2, and it looks to continue that style in Battlefield 3, set during the evening, which provided interesting and warm colors.

Wake Island

Wake Island takes a big departure from the Battlefield 2 version. Instead of lush, tropical visuals, we get a more darker and gritty map which has been ravaged by war and combat.

Strike at Karkand

Strike at Karkand was a dusty, grim map in Battlefield 2 with low visibility and almost no colors besides khaki. The Battlefield 3 version is more colorful and lifelike.

Kits

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

There are four kits in battlefield 3, assault, support, recon, and engineer. Each kit consists of its own weapons and gadgets. I am going to give you some details about each one so you can pick the one best for you.

Assault- The Assault class carries a primary weapon consisting of an assault rifle like the M16 and AK-74 and is now merged with the medic class the Assault class can now heal and revive teammates. It can also function as a more offensive class with ability to swap out the revive kit for a grenade launcher.

Support- The Support class returns to its role it had in Battlefield 2, with its main purpose to provide heavy fire from a Light Machine Gun (like an M249 SAW), and resupply teammates with ammunition. In Battlefield 3, the Support class is broadened with the ability top use lighter weapons and assault rifles like the M4, as well as C4 explosives.

Recon- The Recon class carries a sniper rifle for long range engagement, but for Battlefield 3, the Recon class has a more active role as well. The Recon also has the ability to use a laser designator to mark targets.

Engineer- The Engineer class in Battlefield 3 is very similar to the class in Bad Company 2: its primary role is to engage tanks and armored vehicles with an array of rocket launchers such as the RPG-7 and the SMAW, or use anti tank mines. The primary weapon is a carbine rifle, with a variety of unlocks available, ranging from shotguns to sub machine guns.
