Cawnah wrote Okay I don't really get how everyone thinks I'm giving bad advice. When people ask for your info like that it is generally not a good idea to give it to them. It's like saying I can give you money if you give me your bank account number and password.

Am I wrong? I don't see you guys giving him any ideas.

there are certain things that are ok and not ok to give to a person about your info on your router.
in this case, what he is asking for will not harm his what so ever.
know what you are talking about, before you start giving faulty advice.

Not always! lol.
Just kidding, my reason was a fluke, I was getting about .9 down, and i was suppose to be getting around 2.5 down. My settings were all right, I kept on calling and calling and calling. FINALLY they sent somebody out, because I think I was getting annoying ;)
They guy told me that whoever first set this up, did not setup the filter correctly on the outside of the house, causing dragging, so he fixed it, and i was hitting about 2.9 down. beautiful
