This is a short beginners guide to get you set on the right path once you start playing the Battlefield series, if you ever do at all. Don't forget to thank and comment.
1. Stick to cover! Don't rush into enemy bases, or straight for the objectives. Your best bet is to stick with your squad and move around the objective eliminating enemy resistance. Set up a certain RD point. (Resource Dump) A place for your Medics and support to drop heath and ammo for you to use at your discretion.
2. Use a class you're comfortable with! If you're not comfortable being a medic or a support gunner, use the engineer or sniper classes. Don't force yourself to play in a way that you don't enjoy.
3. Stay back when sniping! This game focuses on the element of recon when it comes to sniping. You can't run around quick scoping and expect to come out the other side with a 30-0 game. Stick to trees and far off vantage points to take your shots at targets your squad marks for you.
4. Vehicles, Vehicles Vehicles. The maps are huge in Battlefield. Your best bet for moving around is to have someone in your squad who is adept at maneuvering the vehicles in the game. If you can't do it, don't try. Learn on your own time.
5. RPG's aren't used for infantry! They're unreliable at killing anything except what they're intended for. Use them on enemy vehicles for your best results.
6. Use teamwork! Battlefield can't be played as a lone-wolf game. You need to stick with your team, or at least stay in contact. Otherwise you'll find yourself with 2 health in a far off corner with 0 ammo.
