I have x31 and theyre amazing, you can hear people plant the bomb, and defuse and stuff. Ever since i got them my gameplay has improved by so much. SO yea they do give u an advantige especially when people arnt using ninja pro then theyr really good. hope i helped!!

I'm completely new to the headphone thing so i wouldnt know, but If the X1's aren't going to be very effective i'd rather just spend the extra money to get the effective ones

no u cannot tell exacally ware someone is i got the turtle beach 31x's and i mean its a good headset but u can tell when someone is coming at u or around reall good if ur playing snd but my frined has astros and its the same thing for him he says its not that much of a help

there good for just turning up game volume on regular pub matches and just listening to all explosins and stuff ud be suprised of all the werid things u hear
i hear this werid noise alllll the time and its sooo annoying but i guess its a bird caaing its so loud and annoying

Theyre good but i have no experience with x1 only x31 i hear really good with x31 and thats my prefrence If you want an oppinion on x1 wait a ittle till some1 with x1s posts theyre opionin.

yea as matd456 said ou can hear a bunch of weird things like monkeys and birds its pretty distracting.

The X1's are the exact same as the X3's, but the X1's are wired. The X3's are wireless. I have both of them and I like the X3's because they are wireless, but then again X1's are cheaper. Also, the X1's kinda get annoying sometimes with the wires. They are both all around great mics for great prices.

yea there great have the x41s they do the job but u cant perfect perfection lol
